Dear Scholastican,

Re:  Report to the Membership and Invitation to a Christmas Party

It has been one year and one month since your new set of officers took the helm of the association on October 14, 2001 and we have managed to accomplish quite a feat, considering what we have mandated ourselves to do. 

We would like to report that as of December 31, 2001, our SSCAAC - Ontario Chapter's TOTAL CONTRIBUTIONS & DONATIONS remitted to SSC - Manila show a 'whopping' total of C$19,244.50, which you can see in the attached Analysis, a true reflection of the team effort which our association's past and present officers have demonstrated since its inception on April 27, 1991.

Our new team has created a CHARTER and BY-LAWS governing our association which we  adopted on May 18, 2002, to ensure the efficient running of the association's affairs.  These are attached herein. Take the time to peruse them as they make for an interesting and informative reading.

We had a productive ANNUAL GARAGE SALE held on May 25, 2002 as our first fundraising for the year.  We had a very successful first ever GRAND REUNION in Las Vegas from June 20 - 24, 2002 spearheaded by the three (3) North American chapter presidents of the East Coast, West Coast and Canada with the invaluable support of three (3) other dynamic Scholasticans, with Resolutions to be implemented soon.  Please see Report of the Las Vegas Reunion on the website: www.scholastican.org.

We are now just about ready to start our ANNUAL CAROLLING EVENT, with our final rehearsal happening this weekend.  Our actual carolling will be on Nov. 30, Dec. 1, Dec. 6 and Dec. 8.

Please come to our ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY.  Bring your spouse, children and grandchildren.

Although the officers and choir members will provide dinner and drinks, please also bring a favourite dish to share with everyone and, if you wish to do so, a prize for games (valued at a minimum of $5.00).  Kindly RSVP by December 7, 2002, to Emy Borlaza-Telesforo, our 2^nd Secretary. Please also bring your annual membership dues of $10.00.
